Glenn Garland, ACE talks with  Andy Jurgensen about editing director Paul Thomas Anderson’s towering achievement, ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER, for which he won the BAFTA and has been nominated for a Critics Choice Award, an Eddie, and an Oscar. Andy began his career as an assistant editor on various films, including THE CAMPAIGN and AFTERNOON DELIGHT. His collaboration with director Anderson started on INHERENT VICE as assistant editor and continued with PHANTOM THREAD as associate editor. This lead to his feature editing debut on LICORICE PIZZA, for which he was nominated for a Critics Choice Award, a BAFTA, and an Eddie. Andy has also cut many of PTA’s short-form projects, including JUNUN, ANIMA, and music videos for artists such as Radiohead, HAIM, and The Smile.
