SBA Forgivable Loans

April 22, 2020

Dear Members,
Banks are still taking applications for PPP forgivable loans. The applications are going into a waiting list in order they were received.

It’s true that the money has run out, but in the next couple of days they will approve the second wave of funding, and there could be a third.

This could provide money to any freelancer, who files a schedule C on their annual taxes and could still be worthwhile for many of our members to apply and get in line.

The CARES Act Signed into Law –Brings Relief to Millions of Americans

I just want to make sure your members realize that many of them are elligible for the SBA forgiveable business loans – that are like free cash in these difficult times. I don’t want film editors and other film industry contract workers to miss out on this significant government support. More details can be read in the blog below under Forgiveable SBA Loan section. They need to contact their banks immediately to apply as funds will run out fast. Non-Profits such as ACE can also apply.
