Glenn Garland, ACE talks with writer/actress/producer, Jules Bruff and writer/director/producer, Alethea Root, to discuss working with Edgar Burcksen, ACE, NCE, on one of his final editing projects, GOOD SIDE OF BAD. Edgar meant so much to the editing community and ACE where he was on the board for many years as well as editing CinemaEditor Magazine. He began his career in the Netherlands editing more than fifteen features and winning the Golden Calf before moving to the states. Here he amassed a great body of work including winning a Primetime Emmy for THE YOUNG INDIANA JONES CHRONICLES, editing the award winning documentary, COLORS STRAIGHT UP, receiving an EDDIE nomination for DARFUR NOW and winning the Robert Wise Award.
